Realities of the mind and heart
or maybe of the mind apart
realities lie and lie realities
of the mind screaming profanities
Realities twist and realities turn
does the mind live on it the body burns
can the heart break and the mind not know
trudging along with the body in tow

In the end I cried
In the end I was all alone
Because in the end she died

So friends it is
and friends we be
There's no more us
and there's no more we
There's only you
and there's only me

Behold the hands of heroes
through battles frought with strain
for oft' with the joys of victory
come the memories of pain

This Gravity pulls me inward
this time there's no escape
this love, it shoves me downward
A pressure my heart can't take
I feel this need to hold her
she makes nothing seem ok
yet, I still bear this on my shoulder
A pressure my heart can't take
On my mind she's built her palace
on this love for her she feeds
my own words my only solace
this load is left to me, a pressure my heart cant take
I want to cry, but the tears, they will not fall
this pain has left me hollow
away from this love I could not crawl
my heart is gone, imploded, from a pressure it couldn't take
